Final Writing Project

With everything coming to an end mean it time for final grades. That should be base on the work do this semester. From the 3Ps to the Boggs and all the writing. With reviewing all of this I have made a decision that I deserve an A because of all the work and improvement I have done this semester.

You may believe that I deserve a lower grade. You might say it because of participation and progress. For not sharing and only doing the basic work. But there is so much more that I am better at.

Everything that I learned has become a habit in my work. From my blogs, to reading, to analyzing, and my writing. The book I read was very inserting mostly because they where Steve King book one of my favorite author. When doing the work for them I liked getting the pictures to help explain what the book about. I wrote about 5 poem and added pictures and color to the words. So it can help understand what I wrote about. On my blog everything is posted that also includes the persuasive essay which is written in the right format.

Everything that is learned, there will be improvement on it. For this semester I improve on a lot of thing. One example is writing poems. This time last year I could not write one at all. Iambic Pentameter made no since. But now it can not be easier.  It just likes taking a stroll in the park. Before I came to this class I have never done a blog before. My first one was very pain and boring. But as time want on I learn new technique to make them more interesting. Like how I put pictures or add color to the words. And also how to write good comments on them.

I hope this make you see that the grade I deserve is an A for doing all my work and all my improvements I have done. That includes the blogs, the poems, the essay, and analysis.

Outside Reading Book

Desperation

The central issue is that in the small town call Desperation there is a cop that lost his mind. He killed everyone in the town. And now is get people off the highway next to the town. He is putting them in jail. Then he kill them. When he done hung the up on a wall he go get more people. the people he has right now or try to escape.

I wonder who is going to be killed next. Will it  be one of the people in the jail.

I don't think it is the boy name David Carver the cop seem to like him. Or will it be the people who are trying to find that author Johnny Marinville who they work for. Or will the cop get more people off the high way. With the way thing are going it can be anyone. The cop seem capably of killing everyone he can get his hand on. He already kill a little girl.



  I'd like to know why and how did the cop get the way he is. All i know about him
   His name is Collier Entragian use to be a miner but he lost his job the town need deputies so they hired him. He also not married and is on workman's comp. And he change same how no one really he just not the same. I wont to knew did he just snap or did something happen to him .


Although it seems that the cop is going to kill them i think they can get away. The bar were not mad small enough to hold a kid. When the cop not there David, the kid, need to slip out go look for a pair of keys and let everyone else. then when there all out go look for guns which should not be hard there in the they are in a small town jail. They also need to try to find car key for one of the random car in the street. And have to avoid the cop and the coyotes at all cost.

There is consequence of  escaping is there a small change that it might work.the reason are if the cop catch them he will so no mercy while  kill them. There hungery coyotes are everwhere and the will attack them for food. And the next town is really far a way they need to find a way and supplies to get there or they will die in the desert.There is a bad sand storm they can get lost in.  Even though it a small chance of  survival they should take it becouse if they stay they will be killed.

Dear: Mom and Dad

 I have a very small request, and I hope it is not too much to ask for. Can I please have a laptop? The reason I need one is really important. One is for school work. Also there will not be fright for the computer and you know what I do on the computer.   

I already know what you will say it too much money. Or you will stay up all night and not do your homework. And I would not know what you are doing on the computer. But please hear what I have to say before you say no.

In the first place you already knew what I do on the computer. If I am not doing or look thing up for school I am on Facebook or reading mangas. Also you do not have to worry about me forgetting to log off again. You do not have to worry about my school work. I always do my homework before I go on. I have good grades that I will keep up. It will help if I can do my work in my room. I would not have the boys and Angela bothering me so I would not take long to do my work with them there.

I will not stay on it all day or stay up at night on it. At most I will be on it for an hour a day on you can just buy me a cheap one. If I am on this I do not have to go the the computer again. The boys and Angela can have it. So no one will fight over who get to go on it.  You will have peace and quiet for once. Also you can also go on and not make me get off.

  

Please at least think over my requests before saying no. I really want a Laptop. I need to go on the computer for school work and then there will not be fight to get on. But I would understand if you say no.

My people I hope you will hear what I have to say. It very important that you learn from this.  For me it was too late, but there is still time for you. I came to talk about friendship and how it really is not what you think it is. The truth is people will only betray, use, lie, and abuse you for what they want. And they do not care about what they have to do to get it. For they do not really care for you. Even if you look, you will never find someone who you can trust or would care for you.

There are some that say friendship is great. Because there will be someone you can trust and be loyal to you. They will be honest to you and you can be honest to them. There will be someone that will understand you and accept the way you are. How I wish that was true, but no one is truly that way.

How are you to be sure that you can trust someone. Why you can not and you do not want to anyway. I remember saying “Et tu, Brute?” (III.i.77) . What I meant when I said this was, “and you also Brutus.” Why did he do this to me one of my best friends? Oh how could I have trusted him and loved him. I would have never thought he would have just betrayed me like that. But all along he did not believe I would be a good king. All he ever did was lie to me. All that time planning my death right under my nose and I did not know.  I thought of him as a great friend and thought we were so close. But I was wrong. For when I looked into his eyes right before I died all I saw was hate in them. How could I have been so blind to the way people are.

Why is there not any one who cares for others?  All everyone thinks about is theirselves and how they can do better and be more powerful.  And even if they say it is for Rome, they are just doing it to make themselves look better. And while doing this they use all of Rome and the name of Rome for their own gain. When Brutes said his speech “… Not that I love Caesar less, but I loved Rome more. Had you rather Caesar living, and die all saves…” (III.ii.15-35). He was just saying all of it to justify what he did to me. So you would trust him and make him king. But the real reason Brutus and every one else did all of this was to make things the way they wanted it to be. Not for the greatness of Rome.

Believe me there is no such thing as a true friend. I may have leaned that the hard way but you do not have to. I hope that this will never happen to someone else. This will not happen to you if you keep this in mind. You ca not trust anyone. They will just lie, abuse, and use you for what they want. Never forget this ever or it might just be the end of you.

    I write in a state of urgents. My beloved husband Cesar refuses to heed my warnings of his forseen death. All I wish is for him to stay within our own walls until the time of proficy has passed. Dear Dr. Berry

     There is some talk about adding extra days to the school year in order to make up the days we missed because of the snow days. Some people say we should add extra days, while others say it is a waste of time, since because of the allotted snow days, we would just have to make up two days. I think we should not have to make it up. The reason I believe this is because the rest of the school year, including finals, is already set and it would cost more money to change the schedule, as well as extending the cost of being at school.

     I have heard the reason that some people think we should extend the school year is because they feel the extra days will be an opportunity to learn more. Others say that extra days gives students who are not planning anything constructive during the summer something to do. This could keep them out of trouble. I have doubts that the short time added will accomplish either of these facts.

     One of the reasons I believe the school year should not be extended is because the dates for final exams are already set, this means that there will be little motivation for students to learn anything after the finals, since they know that there will be no more tests. Also, the teacher's lessons would be done, and they would have to think of something else to do, such as a new lesson or show a movie. If the textbooks were already turned in, there would be no materials to extend a lesson plan. What would the students really be doing in those two days? They would most likely just be sitting there. Some might not even show up. Others might have vacation plans which they will not give up and would just go on their vacations. Also seniors are not require to attend any extra days.


     Another reason I believe that there should not be any more school days added is because It would cost more money to have these days. You would have to pay the teachers and every one else who works there. You would have overhead, like having to pay the electricity and air conditioning, since it would be summer and will likely be hot. The school would also need to buy more food for the lunches on these other days.


     In my opinion, the cost of extending the school year at this point would far exceed the benefits, unless we have more snow days, which seems unlikely at this point. It is not necessary to alter the schedule or the dates for finals at this point, since students should be able to complete the teachers lesson plans in the time remaining as originally planned. Many teachers have already made the necessary adjustments in their plans to account for the recent snow days. Any extension would likely be only adding time the students need to be in class, not in the quality of learning. Many would likely show movies, or another time consuming project in the added days, instead of increasing a lesson plan. I am asking you to take what I have said into consideration as you make your final decision.
